until this day my training and teachings of sensei are embedded in me , theres not a day i dont run through my mind what i was taught and all my training made me what i am today. and i owe this all to you sensei its been awhile and too long i will see you soon…hope all is well…oose!

Thank you very much for posting these pictures. I trained at the Samurai Dojo from 1964-1967 and learned a tremendous amount from Sensei Art McConnell, as well as from all of the other tremendous instructors at the Samurai.

I want to thank you for the great web site. I was a student of Sensei Art McConnell when he had the school in Glen Cove back in 1972. He taught me a lot about keeping a balance in my life. I still have his “The Iron Bridge” which I refer to now and again!
