2nd Degree Black Belt in Ju Jitsu

I have been training in the martial arts for 29 years. Over that time I have had the pleasure to teach and also be taught. Now a days I am honored to be a student of Sensei Art McConnell. While I was first training I used to go to karate tournaments all the time. I was a ranked competitor in SELF DEFENSE, WEAPONS, FIGHTING and KATA. As I got older I started to teach more and compete less. And now I have come full circle and have started to compete again. I compete now in the Black Belt Weapons Division with my sword kata “THE CROSSWINDS”. Sensei Art put this kata together and has competed with it for over 40 years. And now its my turn.
