Sunday was a very very special day at Tozai Sword School. Sensei Art McConnell was admitted into the Kokusai Bugei Kessha (International Bugei Society). And also awarded the rank of Shichidan 7th degree Black Belt Iai-Jitsu. It was an honor to be there for the ceremony and a long time coming for Sensei Art. Congratulations! Thank you for visiting the Kokusai Bugei Kessha(International Bugei Society). Kokusai Bugei Kessha is an international martial arts organization dedicated to the promotion and preservation of traditional Japanese budo and bujutsu throughout the world. The Long Island Budokai is the honbu dojo for KBK, and is a branch dojo of the All Japan Budo federation Nippon Seibukan Academy U.S.A. branch. In turn is a member of the Zen Nihon Sogo Budo Renmei, an umbrella federation consisting over 20 martial arts grous in the Kansai region.
